Forgive me if tis topic has been covered already, as I've been off the
list for a while, but has anyone considered writing a Daisy ap for the
iPhone and iPod Touch? If I were a programmer, I'd do it myself, but
it would be amazing if a person carrying an off-the-shelf iPod or
iPhone could read Daisy on it as well, negating the need for their
clunky blindness technology with the big, oddly shapped tactile
buttons. The ap could handle books with uaks easily enough as long as
the author worked with the library services of such books as well. I
guess the only problem would be that you would have to write a loader
for the Mac or PC with which to load the books onto the touch, but
maybe if there were enough interest, Apple could help in making
something happen, perhaps a plug-in for iTunes or something. Just some
thoughts, and I don't even know if anybody else is interested but me.
Thanks.
Jesse
