That should be it but if there are applications which have files from that drive open it won't eject. Usually closing those docs is all it takes but sometimes you have to quit the app itself.

My friend is a good typist, but English is her second language. She also has mild dexterity issues, so doesn't use trackpad commander.

She simply wants to insert her flash drive, open and edit her college assignment in TextEdit, then eject the drive.

She has difficulty memorizing long sequences of steps. She uses her iPhone for everything else.

Can any of you share your favorite method?
