Hi, Airdrop doesn’t work properly on my mid 2011 IMac either. I have Do not
disturb off or rather i have it in scheduled mode so it starts at 9.30 PM CST
and goes until 9.00 AM CST but even when do not disturb is off, nothing happens
and i can’t even tell my mac to communicate with all or only with older macs,
there’s simply no button there, only a text that says that in order to
communicate with another Mac i have to tell the other mac owner to go to the
finder and turn on airdrop there.
On my Macbook Air from 2012 however, Airdrop works with no problems whatsoever.
