I keep Windows 7 alive on my mac through fusion for exactly those reasons, web vysem and the occasional Microsoft Word use. Although, more and more, I'm getting away from word and doing all my work processing and TextEdit followed by some final format work in pages.there's no shame in using Windows, Take advantage of everything you can to get what you need done.
