Hi Pam,
I’m having a positive experience creating my mailboxes right on the
mac. I go into the mailboxes and select for example google. or iCloud. I
usually then go to the menu bar to mailbox and select new. i put in the name
in the edit field and hit enter the new mailbox is made. I use the mail rules
to send messages such as those from this list to the mail box. all my
mailboxes are showing up on my multiple iPhones and iPad. mail is sorted on
all devices even though I’m not doing this on the server side. I think it may
work because I’m creating mailboxes in map accounts on my Mac.
I have folders and sub folders and even sub sub folders and all is working fine
on all devices.
I just wanted you to know this may work for you. I suspect the server
side has advantages but the skill level is beyond me at this point.
