Whoa, yeah, this works! I think I figured out the logic: it's all about the 
List button. If that button says "selected" when you touch it, double tapping a 
day will show a list of events below your month grid. If, however, it is not 
selected, the day will open and show an hour view. If you then, while viewing 
an individual day, hit the List button again, it switches to a list of all your 
events which you can scroll through. I'll have to do a podcast on this, because 
it's really useful, but hard to explain.
