I'm a bit confused. If you disable the document payne, wouldn't that then make it even more? inaccessible? You say the edit field is under it. So, if you get rid of it, wouldn't that then make the edit field go bye bye if that's the case? Or by under it, do you mean more under the hood, it's coded! under the document payne?

Don't worry. I'm an extremely advanced Voiceover user, and I also definitely do understand very very basic programming concepts, so you can speak jargon with me. Don't worry about the advanced lingo. You now have me very very curious though. I uninstalled the preview as to me, it looked no better than 2011, which is a crying shame!

Chris.

Subject: Disabling the Document Pane in Office Word 2016 Preview?

Hello List,

I have installed the beta Microsoft Office 2016 on my MacBook Air 2013. It would be nice to be able to disable the “Document” Pane. I believe that the edit field is under it and the pane is blocking it from voiceover. Hence, this makes Word not accessible to us. I was attempting to send Microsoft some feedback, but when I clicked on the feedback tab in Word preferences, there was no method to do this. Has anyone figured out the magic steps to get rid of the “Document” pane yet? And, does anyone have the contact to send constructive criticism to Microsoft?

thanks in advance.

Warmest regards,
Eileen
