Hi, Maybe I’m misunderstanding things here, but, if you disable the Document pane, then you are removing the container where the text is being held. Would that not, therefore, make the text disappear, or, at least, inaccessible? If one does an Item Chooser, then types some text that you know is in the body of the document, if it appears to the Item Chooser, we’re getting somewhere, if not, then the accessibility of the editable area is non-existent.
