Hi George, Removing the preview pane is a real headache, but IMHO worth it once you get it gone. Here are some instructions that Tim Kilburn posted a while back. Just fyi, I had better luck when I placed one finger on the trackpad and drug downward with a different finger. Tim's instructions below. Good luck! Donna
