Hi George and Gigi,

thanks for these suggestions. I'm exhausted right now, but tomorrow will try
them out. It's the craziest thing. I live on a street with about seven houses
out in the middle of nowhere. Blind square finds my street, as well as many
other tiny little streets. But this particular intersection involves two major
streets that run most of the way through town and then some, yet it never
announces the intersection. I just don't get it! And of course one of the
streets at that intersection is the one that goes out to our house, so it's
kind of critical. :) Anyway, tomorrow I'll try searching for it, and setting a
POI, and see if that will do the trick. thanks very much for the tips!
Cheers,
Donna
