Hi everyone. I have had my iMac for a little over a month now and am on the latest version of everything. Sometimes, I notice that when I hit the control key to wake my iMac up, it will be a little unstable for a while. For example, sometimes the first app I run after the wakeup process will crash, and I notice that Voiceover will often sound choppy and even restart after a few seconds. After that, everything settles down and works fine. I know that on my Windows machines, I always disabled sleep mode because of similar behavior. As this is a new iMac, should I be concerned about this? Do any of you disable sleep mode? Would it help to turn the computer totally off instead of using sleep mode?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, as I am a recent switcher. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
