Thanks a lot. I didn’t know the two volumes were independent. Turns out you 
were right, the headphone volume was down.
I had been streaming radium to a pa system via the headphone jack when it just 
went silent. I assumed the jack failed, but somehow, either radium or the mac 
must have  shut down the headphone volume on its own.
I wonder if having the mac connected to a mixer board somehow caused the 
problem, like the mac shut it down to protect itself from a surge or something? 
Any ideas?
