hmmm. I have been a long time user of niteowl. I use a slightly older version 
here as I am on OS X Lion. I am not sure if, or when, the developers updated 
niteowl. Still, if you can find an older version, try it after you erase 
everything dealing with the app in its library folder. If this resolves the 
issue, then you will know its a later version bug.
