Well actually I am not sure of much of anything. What I just found out was the 
volume was not working and I turned it up and turned it down and then it 
started working. While doing that however I tried dictating a message. I did 
not get the valve to start and stop dictation and now the bell is working. When 
the bell for dictation is working the volume is working.
