Hi,

Finder integration features allow you to share posts and pics directly from
your Mac. The initial setup is in the Internet Accounts pane of System Prefs.
You add your FaceBook account to the accounts list there and it allows you to
share photos and make timeline posts right from the Finder. For Messenger, you
can add FaceBook to messages as well so that FB messages and/or chats can be
done directly in the Messages app. There was a thread last week here on
MacVisionaries going through the setup process for the Messages angle.

HTH.

Hi Tim,

I completely agree about the website! I do a lot in IOS, too, but I refuse to
install FB messenger on principle, so on those rare occasions when I have to
respond to an FB message, I do it from the site. what do you mean by finder
integration features? Sounds like that might be a good alternative for those
occasions when I do need to do FB on the Mac.
TIA,
Donna
