Hi, I took some time testing this issue and can note the following:
1. The problem mainly occurs when opening a link from Mail or some other app. Not sure if it rears its ugly head when accessing a link from another site in Safari. 2. Copying the link and pasting it into the Address field in Safari allows the page to open normally. 4. If the earlier solutions don't work for you, press cmd-l two times, then cmd-c to Copy the address, cmd-w to close the offending window or tab, cmd-l to bring focus to the address field, cmd-v to paste in the address and then return. The page will load normally. Seems like a VO problem to me as well. Later... 3. turning VO off then back on allows the page to read normally as well as the earlier solution. I'm thinking this is more of a voiceover bug than safari, a sighted person told me that when voiceover is stuck in this menu, when you press the tab key, the focus oes continue to move through the web page, but voiceover does not say anything until you enter and exit the safari menu bar, it then says busy for a moment before recovering. Hopefully this is something apple will fix in a system update. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
