I have noticed some of the screen responsiveness you mention here at times. I
have started turning my Watch off now and then and restarting it. This seems to
renew the responsiveness which still a bit slower than on the iOS devices but
the restart does improve things. I only do it maybe once every few days though.

I just tried the Activate on wrist raise with the speak on wrist raise off,
which is how I have mine set and Siri worked almost every time. I just went
through 10 times of raising my wrist and 8 out of 10 tries, Siri gave the tap
for me to speak. One time it was ready but didn’t give the tap and one time it
failed completely. I find it does best if my arm is at a slight angle, wrist
turned slightly away from me.

I venture that getting the Watch wet is not a good thing to do. I worry when
washing my hands about getting it wet.
