AppleCare for a Mac is like an extended warranty, to the best of my knowledge. 
Accidental damage like this surely would not be covered. Your best bet would be 
to call apple or visit the genius bar to inquire what you're options are. You 
should discontinued use of the computer until you decide what to do, to avoid 
further damage.
