Hi, As mentioned, it can be done, sort of. That is, One library can be stored on a network device and thus shared amongst other Macs, but never simultaneously due to the writing of library data back and forth. Alternatively, using iTunes Match, within it's 25,000 non-purchased limits, this can essentially be done as well, without the simultaneous restriction. If both computers have iTunes libraries, they will be synced up to iCloud using Match without duplication. Whenever you create a playlist on one, it is automatically created on the other. There may be some considerations if you subscribe to Apple Music as well, but I haven't determined all the intricacies of that mixture yet.
