My apologies, I read your original message to mean that a different display did not have the same issues. If it was the same display, the problem is specific to your Mac. I would consider the braille translation tables. Perhaps your table is somehow set to display end-of-line / linefeed characters. Sorry, I do not know how to modify the braille tables.
