I will eventually adapt my filters so that entire subthreads to certain posts are also axed, but in the meantime, is there some way this list can operate some sort of “Five strikes and your out” policy? Because I’m getting a teensy bit annoyed by threads that start out legitimately being derailed into a lot of nonsense which I will then, having marked the thread as interesting, need to wade through in order to get the good bits.
At the risk of putting out that tired old trope about blindness lists: I may just have to leave if this sort of nonsense keeps up. It’s pointless, stomach-turningly embarrassing and just wastes time.
