Well, even if you owned the iPhone 6 or 6+, you still have limitations with it
if you live in Canada like I do. The big one is we don't have Apple Pay yet,
and I doubt we ever will like we never had iTunes Radio until Apple Music came
but that's a different subject altogether. The point I'm trying to get at is
that if you live in canada, that fancy chip for Apple Pay is useless. Besides,
I love my 5S. I'd hate to have a phone that doesn't fit in my pocket. If I
wanted to carry it in a bag, I may as well get an iPad Mini or something like
that.

Many limitations, like I said, no apple pay (unless you add the watch) no
access to the faster networks, smaller display which for someone with big hands
like me the 6+ was a great improvement. You really do have limitations once
you’re out of date. Now they may not be meaningful to you, that’s absolutely
an individual thing but for me for example, I really wanted and am glad to have
Apple Pay. I use T-Mobile so like the extra bands and definitely love the
extra speed, I also use NFC for identifying servers at work. So it just
depends on the use case.

While technology is part of my life, it does not control what I do to the
point that I cannot function without it to some degree. Its a phone. Its got
many useful side benefits. I am not one of those rich people who trade in a car
every year so they can stay ahead of the Joneses.

It makes little sense to chase after the latest and greatest. I do not find
my 5 to be old at all. Limitations? What limitations? (smiles)

Well pay for things is one big thing your phone can’t do, work on a lot of
networks is another and there is a fair bit of sluggishness when you use an
older device like the 5 but hey go with what works for you.

It’s good you’re getting access to the same class of devices as the sited.
That in itself is a great thing.

My iPhone 5 is about 2 and a half years old. I am not even looking at a new

even an 8. There is noting my 5 cannot do at this time. (smiles)

Oh ok know what you mean and this is why I personally don't go for the newer
phones and instead wait one or two years when they drop in price but that's
just me.

The new phones have updated hardware including an updated / better fingerprint
censor, better radio chips that support more bands, larger battery, NFC chip as
you mentioned for payment, etc. Each phone is an iteration better. Not really
revolutionary changes but nice hardware upgrades nonetheless. The proposed 6S+
/ 6S is rumored to have a 12 megapixel camera instead of 8, faster Qualcomm
radio chip (more than twice faster on the network), force touch display and
more battery. Small changes but ones that will make the user experience better.

Thank you so how come they are better in the newer phones apart from Apple Pay
support?

Hi Chris,
I personally am a big fan of the iPhones in general. I have a 6+ now but
bought the 5S actually the day it came out. That was one of the advantages of
working for VZW at the time I could cut in line and buy the phone before the
store opened.
The finger print reader is great and even better in the 6+. Enjoy your
new device. They really are good phones.

Hi all the iPhone 5s it's good isn't it? I even have Touch ID set up and
enabled and it really works as far as unlocking my phone goes. Not tried
purchasing from the iTunes or App Stores yet but am confident that will work
too. I also have my favourite Alex voice. Personally, I like the sound of him
on the 5s. I also like the overall volume it can get very loud can't it? I can
hear it with clarity at just 50% volume.
