Hi, I use ChromeVox daily and it works fine for me. To change the voice while using ChromeVox, press ChromeVox keys + o then press o again. ChromeVox is especially useful in Google things like Google Docs, Sheets etc. Sometimes Chrome works better on a site, sometimes Safari does, it depends on the site. I prefer Safari for most things as ChromeVox only works in the browser area, it does not work in the menus and header areas.

I'm writing as I've got a quick question related to Google Chrome. Some of the services I use are not supported with Safari, and it is recommended that I use Google Chrome for the services. I found that voiceover was not reliable with Google Chrome, and Learned that the reason was because I did not install the chromevox plugin, so I went ahead and installed. I then disabled voiceover and was attempting to go through the interactive tutorial found here: http://www.chromevox.com/tutorial/index.html <http://www.chromevox.com/tutorial/index.html> However two things occurred that I think some feedback on. Number one, for some reason the"bubbles" voice was being used even though I think my system default voices Alex but as I write this message I'm not 100% sure. Do you know where i might be able to verify this? Secondly and in my personal opinion more important, as i can deal With the "bubbles" voice though it's not ideal, as I was going through the tutorial referenced above I was instructed to use the control and Command key as modifiers for chromevox, and was instructed to locate these keys. When I press the control key as instructed, I was congratulated and told that I had found the correct key. Then when I press the command key, again I was congratulated and told that I had found the correct key. However, the next step was to press the control and command key at the same time, but I never got it to do both. as anyone else successfully gotten chromevox to work? Alternatively, is there a reliable Firefox Version that voiceover plays well with? Thanks for any advice.
