Hmmm. If you're on gmail then you "could" access it from multiple email
clients as it is just iMap. In that setup if you delete a message on one
client, it should go away on another as all the mail transactions are
done on the server. It's the same thing if you had Apple Mail on your
Mac and on your iPhone. You would want changes made on your mobile
device to be reflected on your desktop. So that's a long way of saying
that you could set up Apple mail and point it to your gmail and continue
to also access it from IE. That way you can have your IE safety net as
you get more comfortable with doing mail the Apple way.

Tim, Jamie, and others,
Thank you all for your responses regarding mass deletes using Gmail.
Additionally, thank you for pointing me to the unsubscribe information
which I was aware of, but when I figure out how to do a mass delete
and I want to rejoin I do not have that information at the bottom of
the list. If I recall the unsubscribe link does not give me the
address either so that may be why I had requested the unsubscribe
information. It probably would be much simpler if I were using Apple
Mail to do a mass delete, but unfortunately I am using Internet
Explorer to access my Gmail directly. At one time I had an option to
do a mass delete using the Gmail client, but in their most recent
update I lost that ability or so it seems. Take care and again thank
you for trying to help.

Hi,
In addition, in Apple Mail, as long as you've interacted with the messages
table, you can use the shift key along with the up or down arrow to select
multiple messages. Regarding unsubscribing, the info for doing so is in the
footer for each message sent in this group.

Using mac mail, you can use command option shift up arrow to select all of
the messages from where you are to the top of the list, and command shift
down arrow to move from where you are to the bottom of a list of messages.
After you have selected them you can then press the delete key. These are
not voice over commands. Again, command shift option up arrow or command
shift option down arrow to select from where you are to the top or bottom of
the list of messages. Command option up arrow will take you to the top of
the list of messages in mail, and command option down arrow will take you to
the bottom of the list. If I am completely misunderstanding what you want to
do, I apologize.

Hello friends,
I am going to have to unsubscribe due to changes that Google has
made. I want to come back when I find a more efficient email than what
I currently have. With Google's latest change I can no longer mass
delete emails once I have looked through them. I have to go to each
one and select it. I may be overlooking something and if I am I hope
someone can enlighten me, but for now if I can get the subscribe and
unsubscribe information that would be great.
