Why even have code names at all? You're going to have to give the exact version number at some point anyway, so what's wrong with, say 10.11, or 10.12? I'd think this would be problematic since a lot of these names are not simple to pronounce especially if your first language doesn't happen to be the same as the language of the code name? When 10.10 came out I noticed several people who use speech exclusively did not know how to spell Yosemite for example.
