I've been noticing this as well in Yosemite over the past day or so. I still go back to my initial statement that their servers are probably still highly overloaded. Just be patient.

Hello everyone,
I’ve noticed that after updating to 10.10.11, my app store doesn’t load as it should. What I mean by that is when I try bringing up the app store, it opens with an empty window. I quit the app and reload it with the same results. Has anyone else noticed this? I should add that this behaviour is not always consistent.
