Yes, Anne, I did do the clean install. I initially installed over Yosemite but had issues many more issues than now. So I took the plunge, researched it carefully and performed clean install. Hotspots and Safari holding onto VO focus although not every time nor consistently are the major issues for me now. The rest works very well indeed.
