Hello, Sarah. I'm afraid I don't know of any software package that handles numerous styles accessibly, but I can offer you a small dose of encouragement. I had an academic career that ran from 1978-2011, and I hand-generated citations and bibliographies as I went along without the benefit of software, first on a manual typewriter, than on WordPerfect for DOS and Word for Windows. I only had to deal with MLA, I admit.
