Hi!

Just a quick followup to what I said.

Turns out that the way to copy these files is completely buried in threads and
is no longer easy to find, so here's how:

1) You will need to download the zip file from here:
https://github.com/ruuk/service.xbmc.tts
Link says " Download ZIP."

2) After downloading it unzip it to wherever.
3) Rename the folder that is extracted so that it says service.xbmc.tts (master
isn't necessary and just seems lengthy to me)
4) Launch Kodi from Applications, then quit it after you hear some beeps.
5) Go back to the service.xbmc.tts folder, and press CMD-C to copy it.
6) Press CMD-Shift-G from the Finder and go to ~/Library/Application
Support/Kodi/Addons
7) Press CMD-Option-V to move the entire folder into this folder.

That should do it. Launch koi now and it should hopefully speak. It's sometimes
not working quite as it should, however, and the developer doesn't know why
either.

For instance, I just removed Kodi screen reader from Kodi and reinstalled it,
and it doesn't say anything. I ran into that the first time I did this, and
randomly it just kind of…worked, even though the folders look identical to what
I had previously and Kodi registers the add-on by playing sounds.

Good Luck!
