Hello Jeff,

I, for one, am absolutely delighted with El Capitan. I cannot reproduce many
of the bugs that some have mentioned. This may be, in part, because of the
differences in the way people interact with the OS and/or applications.

For instance, I think the Mail application is better than ever but, I use the
mail application in standard/default view, complete with the preview pane, as
opposed to Classic view.

I think it comes down to how and what applications are most important to the
user. For me, the most important application is OS X Mail. So, for me, as
long as that one works as expected, then I can deal with all the rest. Having
said that, I am finding El Capitan to be a remarkably stable and accessible
compliment to iOS 9.x in virtually every regard.

Consider this: If you were going to buy a new Mac, today, it would ship with
El Capitan. Now, would that fact prevent you from buying the Mac? because of
the reputed bugs?

I don't think I've ever heard of a VoiceOver user returning a recently
purchased Mac because of accessibility bugs.

Just something to consider.

Mark

Subject: haven't taken the plunge yet!

Hi, Well when OS X 10.11 came out I upgraded and it wasn’t a good experience.
Now I notice they are up to 10.11.1 do you think I should try it again? I’m
running a 2012 15-inch macbook pro with 16gb of ram and an SSd. What do you
guys think?
Thanks, Jeff
