Oh, you probably have paragon ntfs installed, and I’ll bet you anything that your drive is partitioned as ntfs instead of mac journaled extended. That would explain it, if so. Chris. I think it really just depends on how much data you are actually backing up. I have a friend who backed up about 300GB of data to Time Machine, and from what I vaguely remember her saying, it took somewhere around 5 hours. Chris.
