Hi Anne,

This is an apple SSD that came with a 2011 macbook pro. Late in 2012 that
computer met an unfortunate demise, but thae hard drive was undamaged. I had
the old drive professionally installed into this macbook and it has been a
workhorse, often running 24/7 for weeks or months at a time. If it died today,
I wouldn't feel it owed me anything.

I've never heard of trim enabler but I will google it and see what I can find
out.

I'll also have a glance at activity monitor. I wonder, can I sort apps by the
amount of disk space each requires?

Best,

Erik Burggraaf
