I use 1Password also and love it. But as a "test run" of sorts just to get the 
feeling of how password managers work, or if one has very basic requirements, 
you can always try the Keychain Access app found in the utilities directory 
under  your Mac's applications folder. It'll let you manually enter and review 
passwords and secure notes, either locally or using iCloud Keychain.
