Hello, everyone. I am using a 13-inch MacBook Air running OS X 10.10.5. I recently downloaded the Nuance voice Tom using the VoiceOver Utility function, and I notice that the sample sentence spoken by Tom accessible without downloading the voice sounds more natural than the downloaded voice. "Natural" is, of course, difficult to define, but to my ears, the sample voice sounds as if it occupies a greater frequency bandwidth. Is this limitation on the quality of the downloaded voice connected to the available memory of the MacBook Air? Is it a product of my imagination? :-)
