Absolutely! there is! You can get a USB external CD drive for as low as $30
roughly.
You can get the Apple Superdrive, but those things are quite expensive.
Granted, they are super super good quality, but why do that, when these
drives are mostly just plug and play, and you can get a generic one that
would work both on the mac, as well as Windows for much less.
If you'd like me to, I can try to find you one on Amazon or the like. Would
that help?
Normally now adays, they'd play CD's and DVD's, as well as burn both CD's
and DVD's. If you're lucky, you probably could even get one that would read
blu-ray.
Granted, you'd need a 3rd party app on the mac for playing Blu-Ray, as DVD
Player won't do it. That said, I can almost swear to you that VLC would do
it.
Chris.

Subject: My 4GB Mac book Ere and CD'S and DVDS
Hi,
I don't see a slot on my 4GB mac book Ere to work with a CD. If that's
the case, is there such a thing as a portable CD player that can be used
via USB to interact with this?
Thanks,
Sharon H.
