Hello John,

The machine is a brand new MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina that we unpacked
yesterday. I’d already downloaded the combo updater for El Capitán 10.11.2
which was a good thing as the client’s internet connection is unbelievably slow.
I’ve given up on a Bluetooth connection and found a USB cable from my Milestone
that works with the Apex, and Braille is working fine that way.
The client has never used a Mac before and hates computers. I’m trying to set
things up to be as simple as possible for him. He uses his Apex at work with a
Windows computer and JAWS, so I think the USB connection is safest for him.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,

Anne
