Hello John,

It claimed to have paired, but failed to load the Bluetooth device!
I’m having endless trouble with the MacBook Pro. It was made during November,
so it really is brand new and has never had anything but El Capitán installed.
I frequently find that VoiceOver gets stuck and I have to turn VO off and back
on again to be able to navigate.
My client is a Mac beginner with no patience at all. He wants something that
just works, and this MBP he’s bought is not working the way it should.
My three-year-old MBA is working great on El Capitán.
My client lives a ten-minute walk from an Apple Store, but they told us
yesterday that they have no one who knows much about VoiceOver, so he won’t get
much help there.
I’m feeling embarrassed as I told him that the Mac would do all the things he
wants.
I configured Pages to open with a template I created for him to his
specifications, I’ve made Keyboard Commander shortcuts to his favourite
applications, I’ve created a radio playlist to suit him in iTunes, and I’ve set
another radio station as a Favourite in Safari.
I don’t know what else I can do to make the Mac as easy as possible to use. Oh
yes, I’ve set that new option in VoiceOver Utility to reduce the amount of
interaction since the concept is beyond him. He’s a lawyer, by the way!

Cheers,

Anne
