Hi unders,
I would consider that decision very carefully before going to android. Borrow a
phone or a tablet and see if you can do there everything that you need to do.
My experience with a new android device is that there are serious deficiencies
in that system with talkback. Among them are web browsing, continuous reading,
mail management with efficient reading of lots of email messages. It has some
good things. The experience there with Bluetooth is great, of course the audio
for talkback does go through the Bluetooth speaker just as voiceover go through
Bluetooth speakers. That's why I like airplay. Voiceover stays on the device.
But not everything is AirPlay enabled. Also, android with one of their
launchers has a very nice way of moving apps, which I would really like to see
Apple adopt in the future version of iOS. All I am saying, is don't you just go
buy a device and assume that all the good stuff you have on iOS will be equally
efficiently doable over on android. There are some fairly serious deficiencies
there in my opinion.
