One trick I use for making a lot of sites like this with dynamic drop-down
controls more accessible is to set VoiceOver to move the mouse pointer to the
VO cursor. In this way, merely navigating onto a submenu is usually sufficient
to open it, and as long as you are moving forward you will see all the submenu
items (Purchased, Wishlist, etc on Audible). In the few cases that this
actually makes navigation rather hard, you can simply turn off cursor tracking.

But honestly, use the phone when you can. The experience is just *so* very
much better, and it makes me quite sad to see how much gunk many desktop sites
have that, with the constraints of the mobile, they are happiest dispensing
with, to the improvement of the user experience. People are apparently not
willing to resize their browser windows, though, so desktop sites are
full-page, glamorous affairs that often aren’t accessible enough.
