The problem I had was that I needed to edit some of my account settings. I couldn't find a way to do that on the mobile site.
BTW, in case it's helpful to anyone else, one thing I've learned is that you don't have to merge your Audible and Amazon accounts unless you want to be able to use WhisperSync. I don't care about that, so ended up not merging them after all.
