Your thoughts are almost exactly mine, although NVDA doesn't support braille 
enough for me to be comfortable with silent braille operation, but yes, I use 
Mush-client in Windows XP. Actually, there is a free, windows xp vm, with an 
older version of NVDA installed, but still, its out there.
