Forgot about Cmd Tab. The other thinbg that happens is when I select Updates and stop interacting with the toolbar and interact with html content, it seems not to work correctly there. Maybe something to do with how El Capitan handles interacting?

Hi,
I’m seeing this too, or something similar. But, when I command Tab out of the
App Store, and back in again, it reads and everything shows up. But, when I
just open the App Store, and try to read anything using standard VoiceOver
commands, it just says, “App Store has no windows.”
I hope this helps,
Jeffrey

This issue seems to be to be reproducable so I will describe what it is.

I did a clean install of El Capitan 10.11.3 from Yosemite last weekend. I
then did a restore from Time Machine but later found out the last backup was
over a month old. So I selectively restored from Carbon Copy Cloner the 3rd
party apps which I had updated just prior to the install. And the iTunes
library.

The issue comes up when I open the App Store. Voiceover does not finish
speaking the fact, it acts as if something has taken its focus. I have to do a
VO+f1+f1 and choose App Store to regain focus.

This happens after a start up or restart, nothing else is running that I
know of. Everything else that I have opened works fine. Any ideas? Thanks.
