There is a VPN server (supports both PPTP and L2TP-in-IPSec with optional
NAT-T) included in OS X Server. Bonus if you have an AirPort device, because
OS X Server will configure it for you. If not, it’s still pretty
straightforward to turn it on, set the IP range, configure the users that
should get permission, export the profile, and then, usually the hardest part,
set up the port forwarding required on your router.

Of course if you actually meant VNC, or remote-control, then Chris is correct
that there is really no option yet because of the requirement for audio.
