I read an article recently that the iPhone by default opens two connections one
cellular and one WiFi and shares the traffic between them. If your cell
service is week in your house this might be the issue. I read about this on
tidbits.com in the last three months. Finding the checkbox they discussed and
turning off this feature did improve my phone performance.

Best Wishes,

Jonathan
