Weird, neither one of my option keys plus up or down arrow works weather I am interacting with the messages table or not. I am on latest El Capitan. I do get an announcement that says “field selected when I try the option up arrow when I am not interacting with the table but when I do interact my cursor seems to be in the exact same place and does not move to the beginning of the table.
