Thanks! Option, command, up or down arrow works for me as well. It takes me to the very top row of the column voice Over is in. So if I am in the subject field, it will take me all the way to the top or bottom row of the subject column, which is quite handy. VO,FN, plus left or right arrow also works and takes me to the very first or last cell of the table. Option plus up or down arrow does absolutely nothing on my late 2011 Mac running the latest version of El Capitan. It certainly seems that way anyways. :)
Thanks all, I may never solve the mystery as to why option plus up or down arrow does nothing for me and works for others, the great thing is that I can now get to the very beginning of my messages table or the top row of the column that I am in. It’s all good. :) That had been frustrating me for well over a month now. I appreciate all of the help.
