On my iMac G4 Desktop I installed Windows Media Player in 2005 and it still works. But, when I tried to update it a couple years later, found out that Microsoft no longer supports the Player for Macintosh. Mine still works but it won't play mpeg4 iTunes or other mpeg 4s However, it still plays mpeg3s.
