Well, that’s actually an interesting question even though it was meant tongue and cheek. Part of my time studying in college was interning on a SONAR project with the Navy. Set content, temperature, the fact it’s water, all have a big impact on the sound. Things are less bass heavy because of the way waves propagate. Listen to some under water recordings of whales to get an idea.
