To be honest, I have both an IPhone 6S, as well as an IPad Air 1st generation.

I don't really so much think I use one for things more than the other, nor do I use them for different tasks. I pretty much have the same configuration and set of apps on both devices. I think it's more just that I'm a major Apple lover, and any new piece of Apple gear I can get my hands on, I will try doing so. That said however, I really don't see any particular reason that the IPad would serve anything more or less than what you could get with an IPhone, and same goes vice versa. For me, it's more just I pick up whichever I am in the mood to use at the given time.

Plus, I am an independent A.T instructor, and therefore, I have to have both so that I can teach both systems. Plus, if a student living locally to me is interested in seeing one over the other, I have both where I can let them get their hands on one and see it first hand. Obviously with my clients who are long distance, that's not as easy, but still... you get the point.

One thing I've known people to do is to use their phone more for personal stuff, and their IPad more for business.

I might wind up actually doing that. I'm undecided at this point.

Subject: A question for people who have both an iPad and an iPhone

Hello,
For those of you with an iPad and an iPhone, what do you use each device for? Why would having both be beneficial?
What do you use your iPad for? What about your iPhone? Your Mac?

Thanks,
Bill
