Which version of the Mini is it? Is it the version with two internal HDs

Well I had exactly the same problem last week.
My only recommendation is to buy a cheap monitor just for the mini which
is 
what I did.
Of course you can also do what I did and buy yourself an early Christmas

present (an imac).
